Woodland Soap for Hair and Body.
Soap Dish not included. See Bath Accessories for soap dishes. We do recommend using a soap dish that drains your soap very well. Your soap will last longer when kept dry between uses.
Please read: Shampoo bars are not for everyone especially if you have hard water. If you’ve never used a shampoo bar before, start out with a sampler from our “Samplers” page. If it does not work for you, use the rest of your bar as body soap and try a Miessence Shampoo sampler. Installing a shower filter or whole house water softening system is recommended for hard water.
Our natural Woodland Bar has a nice woodsy scent so you may want to use it just for the scent. Essential oils aren’t rough on your hair even though they are known to be beneficial for hair and scalp.
When you begin to use soap to shampoo you may experience an adjustment period which can take several days to a month to normalize. Factors include water hardness and other products you have used or are using in your hair. Try shampooing very lightly and use a vinegar rinse. Using distilled water is helpful also. Not everyone will have this adjustment period but for those who do, I think you will be very please once you have adjusted. I have been using them for some time and my hair has body and bounce that I never had before. Those of you already using natural shampoo should have no problem at all.
